These old 1950’s race cars were really part of the inspiration of our American Muscle Cars with putting a powerful engine in a lighter chassis and body. These Aston Martin DBR 1 Race Cars from the late ’50’s were very fast and these are like the one shown in the recent movie with Ford vs Ferrari with Carrol Shelby and Roy Salvadori winning at Le Mans in 1959 before the dominant run from Ferrari in the early 1960’s.
This is just a clip of running these at the iconic Spa Fancorchamps old vintage road course in Belgium on our race simulation with Project Cars 2. Just part of a last lap and going up the infamous Eau Rouge climbing esses turn which is very tricky and dangerous at this old circuit.
