This year for 2025 we were out in the late afternoon and evenings all week at both the Peppermill and Atlantis Casinos , both venues have pretty much been our spots to hang out at for over 20 years and we have participated in HAN for over 30 years with many different rides. This year we had the 1969 Corvette and the old nostalgia patina 1965 Volkswagen Bug out to cruise a bit and part of the shows. Our race Mustang is still in the process of it’s conversion from the Road Race Car to a Vintage Drag Race Machine with the Dyno Don Tribute Livery and we did not have it out for the activities so I drove the old Bug wich brought back a lot of memories. When I finished college in 1981 I had a ’66 WV that we did a Cal Look lowered theme on and I gave it to my Brother when I bought a new El Camino back in the day…..This year he reciprocated and I had Da Bug. Because VW made millions of them, it seems as though everybody has old VW Stories.
Here are a few pictures from this years event in the Reno area for 2025. Thanks for stopping by and as always……….TACH IT UP!!!!

7TH in line at the Peppermill on Monday morning for the “Official” kickoff to get some spaces reserved for our lineup. Not quite one of our Muscle Cars but a fun old VW Bug for this years festivities. There are now getting to be a lot of old Bugs and Buses out and a Thing or two…

A couple of NOSTALGA Funny Cars behind us at the Peppermill. Great looking ‘Vette and early ’70’s Vega bodies.

Our vintage ’65 in all its glory. Not quite lowered as much as some as its little better to actually drive this way…..

Our line up at HAN Kickoff……Our friend with another Fox Mustang, a ’79 with upgraded drive train, ’69 Vette and Da BUG….

Down the street from me at the local Union 76 Station, the guys put together the very cool early fifties F1 Ramp Truck and their stretch VW Rat Rod…..
