(Image from IMSA Press Release as Sent to Nevada Musclecars.com)

Next year for the 2024 Season, Ford and Chevy will battle against each other in the IMSA GTD Class. Chevy will be running the ZO6 GT3R Corvette in new configuration for the class and Ford will be running a brand new GT3 Mustang in the WeatherTech Series in both the GTD and GTD(Pro) Classifications. The Corvette will run under the Pratt-Miller banner and the Ford Mustang will be with the Multimatic Team.

Both teams will be ready to roll for the Roar before the 24 in early January 2024 and then will compete in the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona against the other factory and private teams from BMW, Porsche, Ferrari, Aston-Martin, Lambo, Audi and Acura for the Championships both here and abroad in Europe. It should continue to be quite a show.

Please come back for more on this long time classic American Brand battle and I will plan on putting up few more pics and update information in the near future…….

Again, Thanks for stopping by and as always……..”TACH IT UP”…!!!

How are they handicapping the ‘Vette to make the Mustang competitive?
