Coming up is the second IMSA Race of 2022 at the famed Sebring International Raceway in Sebring, Florida. The 73rd running of the 12 Hours of Sebring by Mobil 1 will start on the morning of March 15 2024 and end later that night in the darkness. The Sebring facility is very special as it is the last of it’s kind in the United States for a major full race being held on an Airport Circuit and former training facility for B-17 pilots from World War 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 17 turn 3.74 mile layout is notorious for it’s VERY BUMPY racing surface and it is a very demanding race for the 12 hours on both man and machine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most “traditionalist” racers and enthusiasts alike would like to keep it that way as part of our motorsport history and lets hope it’s kept that way. As they say in the racing community……”Respect the Bumps”!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
