{"id":4348,"date":"2022-01-21T04:03:00","date_gmt":"2022-01-21T12:03:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nevadamusclecars.com\/?p=4348"},"modified":"2022-02-04T07:32:01","modified_gmt":"2022-02-04T15:32:01","slug":"corvette-racing-at-daytona-2022-two-gtd-pro-cr8s-to-run-at-rolex-24","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.nevadamusclecars.com\/?p=4348","title":{"rendered":"CORVETTE RACING at Daytona 2022: Two GTD Pro CR8&#8217;s to Run at Rolex 24 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>With next year&#8217;s and next months 2022 Rolex 24 at Daytona just over 30 days away, Corvette Racing had just committed to run 2 new C8R&#8217;s in the GTD Pro &#8220;updated&#8221; configuration at IMSA&#8217;s premier event at Daytona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The WeatherTech Championship with IMSA will be different for Corvette Racing this in 2022 where only one C8R will run the full season and the second car will run in Europe for the FIA World Endurance Championship, except for this season opening event in Florida where the familiar #3 and #4 will compete together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Antonio Garcia, Jordan Taylor and Nicky Catsburg will be the drivers for the #3 C8R and the #4 entry will be handled by Tommy Milner, Nick Tandy and newcomer Marco Sorensen from Denmark.
